Introduction: Two Strands of Existentialism
Before discussing “the relationship between existentialism and the Bible,” we must first clarify an often-overlooked fact: existentialism is not monolithic.

After the LORD gave Israel two victories over the powerful Aramean army, Ahab should have faithfully carried out the judgment entrusted to him; instead, tempted by Ben-Hadad’s offers to restore cities and open markets in Damascus, he called the enemy king “brother,” welcomed him into his chariot, made a covenant with him, and released the one God had appointed for judgment. -
Existentialism and Scripture: Between Freedom, Anxiety, and Grace
Core thesis: Existentialism can help Christians face freedom, anxiety, self-deception, and responsibility with greater honesty, but it cannot serve as humanity’s ultimate foundation. Scripture reveals that human beings are created in God’s image, broken by sin, and forgiven and renewed in Christ. True freedom is not self-creation, but returning—by grace—to the identity and calling God gives.

Understanding Through Scripture: “The Love You Give Reflects the State of Your Life”從聖經理解「你給出的愛,反映你的生命狀態」
How we love often reveals what we fear, desire, and rely on inwardly; it is not, however, a final verdict on a person.
The biblical starting point is not “perform love better,” but “God loved us first” and reshapes us in Christ to love.

Not of the Mountains or Plains, but Lord of All the EarthDevotional on 1 Kings 20:22-30

This passage uses the absurd contrast between the “mountain god theory” and the “plain god theory” to expose the erroneous belief of the Arameans, who divided divine spheres of influence by geography. It simultaneously demonstrates that Yahweh transcends geographical boundaries, personally proving through historical events that He is the “Lord of all the earth.” -
