I. The Nature of Death
聖經描述死亡不是「歸於虛無」，而是關係的斷裂：人與神的關係斷裂、人與人的關係斷裂、人與自己的關係斷裂、人與受造界的關係斷裂。
Scripture describes death not as “returning to nothingness,” but as rupture of relationships: rupture between humanity and God, between persons, within the self, and between humanity and creation.
死亡恐懼不是單純害怕生命結束，而是害怕自己所愛、所做、所記得的一切，連同「我」這個具體的人，終將歸於消失。
The fear of death is not merely fear that life will end; it is fear that everything one loves, does, and remembers—together with the concrete person called “I”—will finally disappear.
叔本華之所以具有強大的安撫力量，是因為他並不試圖以廉價樂觀或死後獎賞來掩蓋死亡，而是從根本上重寫問題：若個體自我不是終極實在，死亡便不必被理解為絕對的毀滅。
Schopenhauer has great consoling power because he does not try to conceal death with cheap optimism or postmortem reward; instead, he rewrites the problem at its root: if the individual self is not ultimate reality, death need not be understood as absolute destruction.

The four major figures of German Idealism are usually Kant, Fichte, Schelling, and Hegel; each sought to understand “the Absolute” through human reason, subjectivity, nature, or history.

Christian faith begins with the distinction between Creator and creation: God exists prior to humanity and freely reveals himself through creation, Scripture, and Christ.

This passage brings the chapter’s tension to its height: Ahab and Jehoshaphat sit enthroned in royal robes, a full religious spectacle unfolds, and four hundred prophets speak favorable words in unison—only one man has not yet spoken: Micaiah.
上一份文件走完了《纯粹理性批判》的四步闭环，停在”为信仰留空间”这一步。但康德自己并未止步于此——他紧接着写了《实践理性批判》，正是要回答一个问题：理论理性退场之后，那块被腾出来的空地上，到底能不能站得住脚？
The previous document completed the four-step circle of the Critique of Pure Reason, stopping at “making room for faith.” But Kant himself did not stop there—he went on to write the Critique of Practical Reason precisely to answer one question: once theoretical reason exits the stage, can anything actually stand on the ground it cleared?
這不是說康德「證明了」聖經，也不是說聖經「需要」康德的背書。而是：兩條獨立的思想路徑，從完全不同的出發點，走到了同一個結構性的十字路口——理性有限，信心必要。
This is not to say Kant “proves” Scripture, nor that Scripture “needs” Kant’s endorsement. Rather: two independent lines of thought, starting from entirely different premises, arrive at the same structural crossroads—reason is limited, faith is necessary.

康德說：對象必須符合我們的認識，而不是反過來。人類心靈自帶時空、因果這副眼鏡。
Kant says: objects must conform to our cognition, not the reverse. The human mind comes equipped with the “spectacles” of space, time, and causality.
