一、論證的出發點

I. The Starting Point of the Argument

聖經宣告：「神就是愛」（約翰一書四章八節）。
Scripture declares: “God is love” (1 John 4:8).

如果這句話不只是修辭，而是神本質的真實描述，那麼「愛」這個概念本身的邏輯結構，就會對神的存有方式提出要求。
If this statement is not merely rhetorical but a true description of God’s essence, then the logical structure of “love” itself places demands on how God must exist.

愛不是一個孤立的屬性，而是一種關係性的行動，天生需要施與受的兩端。
Love is not an isolated attribute but a relational act, inherently requiring both a giver and a receiver.

由此產生一個核心哲學問題：一個永恆、不依賴受造物才能存在的神，如果本質是愛，祂在創造宇宙之前，愛的對象是誰？
This raises a central philosophical question: if God is eternal and does not depend on creation to exist, and if His essence is love, who was the object of His love before creation?

「耶穌基督的使徒彼得寫信給那些被揀選，分散在本都、加拉太、加帕多家、亞細亞、庇推尼寄居的人。」
“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those elect who are sojourners of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia.”

「被揀選」與「寄居的人」，這兩個詞放在同一句話裡，構成了整封信最核心的身份張力：在神面前是尊貴的、蒙愛的；在世界面前卻是外人、暫居者。這種雙重身份，正是今天每一位基督徒都必須誠實面對的生命處境。
“Elect” and “sojourner” placed together in the same sentence form the central tension of identity running through the whole letter: honored and beloved before God, yet an outsider and temporary resident before the world. This double identity is precisely the life situation every Christian today must honestly face.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

一、火車的比喻，人心的鏡子

A Train, and a Mirror for the Heart

老師把教會比作一列火車，車頭、座位、笛、燈、欄杆、車廂，各有各的功用，正如教會裡各種恩賜與崗位，缺一不可。
The teacher compares the church to a train—engine, seats, whistle, lights, railings, and carriages each serve a purpose, just as the church contains many gifts and roles, none of which are dispensable.

全章結構

Chapter Structure

第1至2節：問安與身份，宣告寄居者蒙三一上帝揀選、成聖、蒙血所灑。
Verses 1–2: Greeting and identity, declaring the sojourners chosen, sanctified, and sprinkled with blood by the triune God.

第3至5節：頌讚神，因基督復活，信徒得著長存的活潑盼望與不能朽壞的產業。
Verses 3–5: Praise to God, for through Christ’s resurrection believers receive a living hope and an imperishable inheritance.

彼得前書開篇短短兩節，已經濃縮了整封信的神學骨架：三一上帝的救贖工作，與信徒作為地上寄居者的身份。
The opening two verses of 1 Peter compress the theological skeleton of the entire letter into a brief space: the redemptive work of the triune God, and believers’ identity as sojourners on earth.

“He did evil in the sight of the LORD, walking in the way of his father and mother, and in the way of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.”

亞哈謝的統治只有短短兩年，經文卻用最少的篇幅，寫下最沉重的判決。
Ahaziah’s reign lasts only two years, yet the text uses the fewest words to record the heaviest verdict.

“Jehoshaphat walked in the way of his father Asa, unceasingly, doing what was right in the LORD’s sight.”

在亞哈的死亡與墓誌銘之後，作者緊接著記下約沙法一生的總結。
Immediately after Ahab’s death and epitaph, the writer records a summary of Jehoshaphat’s life.

“They washed the chariot at a pool in Samaria, and the dogs licked up his blood, according to the word of the LORD.”

亞哈的一生以王的葬禮結束，卻沒有以王者榮耀被記念。
Ahab’s life ends with a royal burial, yet he is not remembered with royal honor.

列王紀作者先記下他的血從戰車中被洗去、狗來舔血的景象，然後才提起他所建造的象牙宮與城鎮。
The writer of Kings first records the scene of his blood being washed from the chariot and licked by dogs, and only afterward mentions the ivory palace and cities he built.
