Revelation 2:18-29
「你要寫信給推雅推喇教會的使者，說：神的兒子，那位眼睛如火焰、雙腳像發亮的銅的這樣說：
“‘To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze:
我知道你的行為：愛心、信心、勤勞、忍耐；又知道你末後所行的善事比起初所行的更多。
“‘I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.
然而，有一件事我要責備你，就是你容忍那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別教唆我的僕人，引誘他們犯淫亂，吃祭過偶像之物。
But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
我曾給她悔改的機會，她卻不肯悔改她的淫行。看吧，我要使她病倒在床上。那些與她犯姦淫的人若不悔改他們的行為，我也要使他們同受大患難。
I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality. Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works.
我又要殺死她的兒女，眾教會就知道，我是那察看人肺腑心腸的，我要照你們的行為報應各人。
And I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.
至於你們其餘的推雅推喇人，就是一切不隨從這教訓，不明白他們所謂撒但深奧之理的人，我告訴你們，我不會再把別的擔子放在你們身上。
But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I do not lay on you any other burden.
你們只要持守那已經有的，直到我來。那得勝又遵守我命令到底的，我要賜給他權柄制伏列國；他必用鐵杖管轄他們，如同打碎陶器，像我也從我父領受了權柄一樣。我又要把晨星賜給他。
Only hold fast what you have until I come. The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthenware pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. And I will give him the morning star.
凡有耳朵的都應當聽聖靈向眾教會所說的話。』」
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
默想
Reflection
我們是否把愛心等同凡事退讓？真正的愛會保護人免被罪吞噬，也敢在適當的時候把話說清楚。
Do we equate love with giving in to everything? True love protects people from being consumed by sin and is willing to speak clearly at the right time.
推雅推喇教會在愛心、信心、勤勞和忍耐上都有長進，甚至後來的善事比起初更多。然而，主仍然責備他們容忍錯誤的教導和引誘。
The church in Thyatira grew in love, faith, service, and endurance; its later works exceeded the first. Yet the Lord still rebuked them for tolerating false teaching and seduction.
愛心若沒有真理和界線，可能變成縱容；界線若沒有愛心，也可能變成冷酷。成熟的信仰，是溫柔與清楚同時存在。
Love without truth and boundaries can become indulgence; boundaries without love can become coldness. Mature faith holds gentleness and clarity together.
在工作或社交中，是否有一些習慣已帶來良心不安？請先停止辯護，問一問：這件事正塑造我們成為怎樣的人？它是否正在削弱我們對基督的忠誠？
In work or social life, are there habits that trouble our conscience? Stop defending yourself for a moment and ask: What kind of person is this shaping me to become? Is it weakening my loyalty to Christ?
若要求太多，心已疲憊，就把問題縮小：主已清楚交付我們甚麼？先守住它。忠心有時是停止分心，把最重要的事做好。
When demands are too many and the heart is weary, make the question smaller: What has the Lord clearly entrusted to us? Hold on to that first. Faithfulness is sometimes stopping distraction and doing the most important thing well.
放下對「特別答案」的追逐，回到已知的命令：愛神、愛人、誠實、守約。在普通的日子裏，活出深的真理。
Stop chasing some special answer and return to the commands we already know: love God, love people, be honest, and keep your word. Live deep truth in ordinary days.
家族禮俗也是華人基督徒經常面對的分辨場域。清明、婚禮、喪禮與祖先紀念，都牽涉孝道、親情與宗教象徵。
Family customs are also a place where Chinese Christians often need discernment. Qingming, weddings, funerals, and ancestral remembrance involve filial piety, family affection, and religious symbols.
成熟的信仰是我們需要尊重家人，也需要清楚自己向誰敬拜。溫柔與界線可以同行，忠誠也可以帶着尊親與耐心。
Mature faith means respecting family while being clear about whom we worship. Gentleness and boundaries can go together; faithfulness can be expressed with honour, patience, and love.
禱告
Prayer
主耶穌，求祢以火焰般的眼睛鑒察我們。保守我們在愛心、信心與服事上成長，也在現實壓力中守住聖潔。
Lord Jesus, search us with eyes like flames of fire. Keep us growing in love, faith, and service, while remaining holy under real-life pressure.
求祢賜我們溫柔，也賜我們界線；使我們既能愛人，也不怕在愛中說誠實話。
Give us gentleness and boundaries, so that we can love people without fearing to speak truth in love.
我們疲倦時，求祢提醒我們：祢記得每一份忍耐。
When we are weary, remind us that You remember every act of endurance.

結語
Conclusion
啟示錄 2:18-29 提醒我們，愛心的增長不能取代對真理的持守；真正的成熟，是在愛中仍有清楚的界線。
Revelation 2:18-29 reminds us that growing love must not replace holding to truth; true maturity keeps clear boundaries within love.
願我們持守主已交託的，忠心到底，等候那位察看肺腑心腸、並要把晨星賜給得勝者的主。
May we hold fast to what the Lord has entrusted to us, remain faithful to the end, and wait for the One who searches hearts and minds and gives the morning star to those who overcome.
