Its Place in the Structure of the Letter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u5f7c\u5f97\u524d\u66f8\u5927\u81f4\u53ef\u4ee5\u5206\u70ba\u4e09\u500b\u90e8\u5206\uff1a<br>First Peter may broadly be divided into three movements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u7b2c\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\uff1a\u4fe1\u5f92\u56e0\u795e\u7684\u6190\u61ab\u5f97\u8457\u65b0\u751f\u547d\u548c\u6d3b\u6f51\u7684\u76fc\u671b\uff081:1\u20132:10\uff09\u3002<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First: believers receive new life and living hope through God\u2019s mercy (1:1\u20132:10).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u7b2c\u4e8c\u90e8\u5206\uff1a\u4fe1\u5f92\u5982\u4f55\u5728\u4e16\u4e0a\u4f5c\u5ba2\u65c5\uff0c\u4e26\u5728\u53d7\u82e6\u4e2d\u70ba\u57fa\u7763\u4f5c\u898b\u8b49\uff082:11\u20134:11\uff09\u3002<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second: how believers live as sojourners in the world and witness to Christ through suffering (2:11\u20134:11).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u7b2c\u4e09\u90e8\u5206\uff1a\u4fe1\u5f92\u5982\u4f55\u5728\u82e6\u96e3\u4e2d\u6301\u5b88\u76fc\u671b\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u795e\u7684\u69ae\u8000\u986f\u73fe\uff084:12\u20135:14\uff09\u3002<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Third: how believers maintain hope amid suffering until God\u2019s glory is revealed (4:12\u20135:14).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c2:11\u201312\u6b63\u662f\u7b2c\u4e8c\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u958b\u7aef\uff0c\u958b\u555f\u300c\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u5728\u516c\u5171\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u5982\u4f55\u6d3b\u51fa\u4fe1\u4ef0\u300d\u9019\u500b\u4e3b\u984c\u3002[2][3]<br>Thus, 2:11\u201312 begins the second major movement and introduces the theme of how Christians live out their faith in public life.[2][3]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u524d\u97622:9\u201310\u8aaa\u4fe1\u5f92\u662f\u88ab\u63c0\u9078\u7684\u65cf\u985e\u3001\u541b\u5c0a\u7684\u796d\u53f8\u3001\u8056\u6f54\u7684\u570b\u5ea6\u548c\u5c6c\u795e\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\uff1b2:11\u201312\u5247\u8aaa\u660e\u9019\u7a2e\u8eab\u4efd\u4e0d\u80fd\u505c\u7559\u5728\u7a31\u865f\u4e0a\uff0c\u5fc5\u9808\u6210\u70ba\u53ef\u898b\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u65b9\u5f0f\u3002<br>Verses 2:9\u201310 identify believers as a chosen race, royal priesthood, holy nation, and people belonging to God; verses 2:11\u201312 show that this identity cannot remain a title but must become a visible way of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u4e8c\u3001\u9019\u5169\u7bc0\u5982\u4f55\u9023\u63a5\u8eab\u4efd\u8207\u502b\u7406<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Connecting Identity and Ethics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u5f7c\u5f97\u4e0d\u662f\u5148\u8aaa\uff1a\u300c\u4f60\u5011\u8981\u884c\u70ba\u826f\u597d\uff0c\u795e\u624d\u6703\u63a5\u7d0d\u4f60\u5011\u3002\u300d<br>Peter is not saying, \u201cBehave well so that God will accept you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u76f8\u53cd\uff0c\u4ed6\u5148\u5ba3\u544a\u4fe1\u5f92\u5df2\u7d93\u662f\u795e\u7684\u5b50\u6c11\uff0c\u7136\u5f8c\u624d\u52f8\u52c9\u4ed6\u5011\u6309\u9019\u500b\u8eab\u4efd\u751f\u6d3b\u3002<br>Rather, he first declares that believers already belong to God and then urges them to live according to that identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u9019\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u795e\u5b78\u6b21\u5e8f\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an important theological order:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[<br>\\text{\u795e\u7684\u6551\u6069\u8207\u8eab\u4efd} \\rightarrow \\text{\u65b0\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u65b9\u5f0f} \\rightarrow \\text{\u5c0d\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u898b\u8b49}<br>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[<br>\\text{God\u2019s salvation and identity} \\rightarrow \\text{a new way of life} \\rightarrow \\text{witness to the world}<br>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u300c\u7981\u6212\u8089\u9ad4\u7684\u60c5\u617e\u300d\u4e0d\u662f\u70ba\u4e86\u8cfa\u53d6\u6551\u6069\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u56e0\u70ba\u6211\u5011\u5df2\u7d93\u5c6c\u65bc\u795e\uff0c\u4e0d\u518d\u9700\u8981\u8b93\u7f6a\u7684\u617e\u671b\u6c7a\u5b9a\u6211\u5011\u662f\u8ab0\u3002<br>\u201cAbstaining from fleshly desires\u201d is not a way to earn salvation; it is the response of people who already belong to God and no longer need sinful desires to define them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u300c\u54c1\u884c\u7aef\u6b63\u300d\u4e5f\u4e0d\u662f\u8868\u6f14\u7d66\u4eba\u770b\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u8b93\u795e\u6240\u8cdc\u7684\u65b0\u751f\u547d\u5728\u516c\u5171\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u8b8a\u5f97\u53ef\u898b\u3002<br>\u201cHonorable conduct\u201d is not performance for human approval; it makes God\u2019s new life visible in public relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u4e09\u3001\u300c\u5ba2\u65c5\u548c\u5bc4\u5c45\u300d\u7684\u5168\u66f8\u529f\u80fd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. The Function of \u201cSojourners and Exiles\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u300c\u5ba2\u65c5\u548c\u5bc4\u5c45\u300d\u662f\u5f7c\u5f97\u524d\u66f8\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u8eab\u4efd\u5716\u50cf\u3002\u5b83\u57281:1\u30011:17\u548c2:11\u5f62\u6210\u547c\u61c9\u3002<br>\u201cSojourners and exiles\u201d is a major identity image in 1 Peter, echoed in 1:1, 1:17, and 2:11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u5b83\u4e0d\u662f\u53eb\u4fe1\u5f92\u9003\u907f\u4e16\u754c\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u63d0\u9192\u4fe1\u5f92\uff1a\u6211\u5011\u5728\u4e16\u754c\u4e2d\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u537b\u4e0d\u4ee5\u4e16\u754c\u7684\u617e\u671b\u548c\u50f9\u503c\u4f5c\u70ba\u6700\u9ad8\u6a19\u6e96\u3002<br>It does not call believers to escape the world; it reminds them that they live in the world without treating its desires and values as their highest standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u9019\u500b\u8eab\u4efd\u5e36\u4f86\u4e09\u500b\u6548\u679c\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This identity produces three effects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u6211\u5011\u6709\u6c38\u6046\u76fc\u671b\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4e0d\u5fc5\u628a\u4eca\u4e16\u6210\u6557\u7576\u4f5c\u6700\u5f8c\u5224\u6c7a\u3002<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have eternal hope, so present success or failure is not our final verdict.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u6211\u5011\u6709\u5c6c\u795e\u8eab\u4efd\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u4e0d\u5fc5\u9760\u4eba\u7684\u8a8d\u53ef\u8b49\u660e\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u50f9\u503c\u3002<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We belong to God, so we do not need human approval to prove our worth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u6211\u5011\u662f\u5bc4\u5c45\u8005\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u8981\u5728\u7570\u6587\u5316\u4e2d\u4ee5\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u54c1\u683c\u6d3b\u51fa\u795e\u7684\u771f\u7406\u3002<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are sojourners, so we must embody God\u2019s truth through distinctive character in a different culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u56db\u3001\u500b\u4eba\u8056\u6f54\u8207\u516c\u5171\u898b\u8b49<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Personal Holiness and Public Witness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u7b2c11\u7bc0\u504f\u91cd\u5167\u5728\u751f\u547d\uff0c\u7b2c12\u7bc0\u504f\u91cd\u5916\u5728\u898b\u8b49\u3002\u5f7c\u5f97\u628a\u5169\u8005\u9023\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff0c\u8aaa\u660e\u771f\u6b63\u7684\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u898b\u8b49\u5fc5\u9808\u540c\u6642\u5305\u62ec\u300c\u5167\u5728\u7bc0\u5236\u300d\u548c\u300c\u5916\u5728\u5584\u884c\u300d\u3002[4][5]<br>Verse 11 emphasizes inner life, while verse 12 emphasizes public witness. Peter connects the two, showing that genuine Christian witness includes both inner self-control and outward good works.[4][5]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u7b2c11\u7bc0\u7684\u554f\u984c\u662f\uff1a\u300c\u751a\u9ebc\u6b63\u5728\u652f\u914d\u6211\u7684\u5fc3\uff1f\u300d<br>The question of verse 11 is: \u201cWhat is controlling my heart?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u7b2c12\u7bc0\u7684\u554f\u984c\u662f\uff1a\u300c\u5225\u4eba\u5f9e\u6211\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u770b\u898b\u4e86\u751a\u9ebc\uff1f\u300d<br>The question of verse 12 is: \u201cWhat do others see in my life?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u5982\u679c\u4e00\u500b\u4eba\u5916\u8868\u71b1\u5fc3\u670d\u4e8b\uff0c\u5167\u5fc3\u537b\u88ab\u8caa\u5a6a\u3001\u8272\u60c5\u3001\u5ac9\u5992\u6216\u6b0a\u529b\u617e\u652f\u914d\uff0c\u898b\u8b49\u7d42\u7a76\u6703\u88ab\u7834\u58de\u3002<br>If a person appears zealous in service but is inwardly controlled by greed, sexual impurity, envy, or the desire for power, the witness will eventually be damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u53cd\u904e\u4f86\uff0c\u5167\u5728\u88ab\u795e\u66f4\u65b0\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u6703\u5728\u8a00\u8a9e\u3001\u5de5\u4f5c\u3001\u5bb6\u5ead\u3001\u91d1\u9322\u548c\u885d\u7a81\u8655\u7406\u4e0a\u9010\u6f38\u986f\u51fa\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u3002<br>Conversely, a person being renewed by God inwardly will gradually show a different life in speech, work, family, money, and conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u4e94\u3001\u8207\u5f8c\u9762\u7d93\u6587\u7684\u95dc\u4fc2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
